Latin America Local Payment Methods: Efecty and More

Therius supports a comprehensive set of local payment methods across Latin America, covering Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. All LATAM methods route through POST /payment/purchase with no additional endpoint changes.

For Argentina methods, apm.payerName, apm.payerEmail, and apm.payerTaxId may be required by the payment provider. If you receive a validation error, confirm the required fields with Therius support and ensure your request includes full payer details.

CLP (Chilean peso) uses exponent: 0 — amounts are whole integers with no decimal places. A value of 20000 equals $20,000 CLP.

Efecty is Colombia’s largest cash payment network, with agents in thousands of locations nationwide. The shopper receives a voucher reference and pays cash at any Efecty agent. Settlement is confirmed within 24–48 hours. Currency: COP, Colombia.
